I went to Hot Yoga today and WOW

I actually did it I went to hot yoga today. I’m not even going to pretend I was fully prepared. The second I walked into that heated room, it felt like stepping into a different world. Heavy, warm air. Instant sweat.  At first, I thought, okay, I got this. A few poses in? Completely different story. My body started shaking, my breath got deeper, and the heat made everything feel more intense. It wasn’t just a workout—it felt like a full-body, full-mind experience. There were moments I wanted to stop, moments I questioned why I signed up but I stayed. And I’m proud of that. By the end, I was drenched, exhausted, and honestly a little out of it but in a weirdly good way. Like I had pushed through something and came out lighter on the other side. Now, I can already tell tomorrow might be rough. I’ve heard people say you feel wiped out after your first class, and I believe it. But right now, I feel accomplished.  Hot yoga wasn’t easy. But it felt like something I needed. Ha...

My first tarot booth for a party

Today was exciting but also a bit nerve wracking Iset up my first tarot reading booth at a party. I’ve read for people before, but this felt completely different. Walking into a room full of strangers and offering something so personal really pushed me out of my comfort zone. Setting up my table felt like a small ritual and somehow it became a calm spot in the middle of all the noise. I wasn’t sure how people would react at first, but they started coming up pretty quickly, which helped me relax. Every person felt different some had specific questions, while others were just curious. Some readings were light and fun, and others got surprisingly deep for a party setting. It ended up feeling more like a series of real conversations than just readings. There were moments when I doubted myself or felt a bit overwhelmed, but I grew more confident as I went. By the end, I was tired in a good way, and honestly really proud of myself. I realized that tarot can happen anywhere, not just in quiet...

From radio waves to campfires

There’s something about preparing for a camping trip that feels almost as exciting as the trip itself. Maybe it’s the anticipation, or the quiet promise of unplugging for a while. With my trip just two weeks away, I’ve found myself doing what any soon-to-be camper does—making lists, checking gear, and wandering through stores imagining all the possibilities waiting out there. This time, though, it feels different. This isn’t just any trip it’s my first time camping. That realization brings a mix of excitement and uncertainty. I don’t just want to have everything I need; I want to get it right. Every item I pick up feels important, like it’s part of a bigger learning experience I’m about to step into. Today, while driving between errands, something unexpected happened. A familiar melody drifted through the radio— “Don’t Dream It’s Over.” Instantly, I was transported. It wasn’t just the song; it was the feeling tied to it. Warm evenings, simpler days, and memories of times when eve...

My first camping trip

Well in  just two weeks, I’ll be going on my very first camping trip, and I’m feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. My husband and I will be heading out with several friends, which makes it even more special. We’re planning to hike about three miles into our campsite, so this won’t be a simple park and camp kind of trip it’s going to be a bit of an adventure Right now, I’m still unsure about everything we’ll need, but I’ve started making a list to help us prepare. Since we’ll be hiking in, we have to be careful about what we pack and make sure we only bring what we need. I’m realizing pretty quickly that  Im  out of my league we are camping in the smoky mountains.  Some of the basics on our list include a tent, sleeping bags, food, water, and comfortable hiking clothes. We’re also thinking about things like a , flashlight, and something to cook with. Since both my husband and I are going, we’re trying to split up what we carry so it’s not too heavy for either of us...

The Power of a 3-Card Tarot Reading

There’s something beautifully simple yet profoundly revealing about a 3 card tarot reading. Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just beginning your journey, this spread offers clarity, direction  and a grounded way to connect with your intuition. In today’s reading, I pulled three cards with the intention of understanding a current life situation through the lens of past influences, present energy, and future possibilities The first card represents the energy that has shaped the current moment. This could be a past decision, emotional pattern, or external circumstance that still echoes in your life today. In this position, we’re invited to reflect without judgment. What have you learned? What are you carrying forward—consciously or unconsciously? This card often brings awareness to patterns that are ready to be released or honored. The second card reveals the current energy surrounding you. It reflects your mindset, emotional state, or the dynamics actively unfolding. This i...

Tuning the Mind:

In a fast-moving world, meditation offers a way to slow down and reconnect with yourself. At its core, meditation is about awareness observing your thoughts, focusing on your breath, and creating space for calm and clarity. Sound frequencies, often called binaural beats, can enhance this practice. These are carefully designed tones that help guide your brain into states like relaxation, focus, or deep rest. When paired with meditation, they can make it easier to settle the mind and stay present. The combination is simple yet powerful: as you sit quietly and breathe, gentle frequencies support your journey inward. For beginners, this can make meditation feel more accessible, while experienced practitioners may find it deepens their practice. Everyone responds differently, so the key is to explore and find what works for you. With consistency, even a few minutes a day can lead to reduced stress, better focus, and a greater sense of inner peace. Meditation and frequencies aren’t mag...

Tarot in nature

Reading tarot in nature feels like stepping into a living version of the deck. The cards don’t just sit in your hands they start showing up all around you. Pull The Fool, and the open trail ahead suddenly feels like an invitation. Draw The  star near water, and the calm reflection becomes part of the message. Even a simple breeze can echo the energy of swords, while sunlight flickering through trees feels like wands in motion. Outdoors, tarot becomes less about memorizing meanings and more about noticing connections. A falling leaf during a reading about release, or a bird appearing at just the right moment, can feel like the world is gently responding. It’s simple pull a card, then look around. Nature has a way of reflecting the message back to you no guide book needed.

Choosing Presence: A Day of Stillness, Sound, and Self”

Today feels like one of those rare, perfectly aligned moments where everything slows down just enough for me to truly breathe it all in. I took my practice outside, letting nature hold space for me as I meditated under the open sky. The gentle breeze, the warmth of the sun, and the quiet rhythm of the world around me created the perfect environment to reconnect with my energy and intuition. As a tarot reader, I’m always reminding others to pause and listen inward—but today was a reminder for myself. Sitting in stillness, I allowed my thoughts to settle like dust, making room for clarity, peace, and subtle messages from within. I also brought along my new panda drum, and what a beautiful addition it turned out to be. Its soft, grounding tones seemed to echo the heartbeat of the earth itself. Each note carried intention, helping me deepen my meditation and open my energy in a gentle, nurturing way. There’s something incredibly healing about combining sound with stillness—it creates ...

Meditation Tarot

Tarot meditation is about moving beyond memorized meanings and sitting with a card to see what it sparks within you. Instead of just reading a definition, you absorb the imagery and energy to find a more personal, intuitive message. By quieting your analytical side, you bridge the gap between traditional interpretations and your own inner voice. It’s a way to stop relying on the guidebook and start trusting your own gut.
